- Susi earned her Parent and Teacher Education certification from the Positive Discipline Association. 
- Currently works at Stanford University as Director of the Pepper Tree Children's program in Stanford's WorkLife Department. 
- Earned her California State Teaching credential emphasizing a focus on Parent Education.

Susi holds a Masters Degree in Education from Univ of Manoa, Hawaii, where she studied the relationship between parents and their children as children learn new skills.  She examined the role of the parent in facilitating, interfacing and developing self reliance in their children during the learning process.  Susi holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Santa Clara University, with a minor in organizational marketing. 

Susi's interest in Parent Education followed an early career in working with the tools of education, primarily software tools while employed at Microsoft Corporation where she worked with educational institutions, including Stanford University, the U.C. and State University Systems of California and districts at the K-12 level.  Later, when her Masters degree allowed deeper exploration of the parent child relationship, she discovered a further passion for working with parents as they related with their children.  As a wife and parent of two, Susi finds that working with other parents, teachers and children in a collaborative way serves to lighten the challenges we all face by putting real experiences on the table and seeking positive, long term solutions.  Her interest in child development and parenting styles began in a high school child development class and has continued after the birth of her children.  She strives to keep her skills current through her association with a nationwide network of parent education professionals maintained through weekly online dialog and annual conferences.

To sharpen her own coaching skills, Susi works with a professional coach for herself who continually challenges her to develop her sharpest toolset.

Susi lives in Los Gatos, California with her husband, her two daughters, and their two dogs.
